Guys who r going 2 get married and have their PD after Dec 2006 and have atleast 2 years of H1-B period left!!Y apply 485 now and wait for atleast 3 to 4 years to apply your spouses. The way I see it you can only apply your spouse's 485 when the PD becomes current again!!Instead y not wait 3 to 4 years and apply simultaneously!!Atleast give the guys who have older PD's a break!!

As OBAMA is going to have meeting this monday it will clear lots of things for us.
Biggest one is if there will be a CIR or not ? if yes then what is time frame.
if he signals yes for CIR discussion ( I am not saying passing ) then all these bills will be crap. and we should start lobby and advocay. If he doesnot think for CIR for year or two then we can push for this one as we will not have any agenda left. ( Except same and simmilar job )

At this point, I am hoping USCIS will at least allow me to change jobs (remember - I am on 7th year H1b - approved I-140, did not apply for I-485 due to retro). some members here said this is possible and some other members said I cannot do this. so I am confused if I can do this or not. If at all USCIS lets me do this, it would be great if I can find a new employer who can do EB-2. I am praying to God to help me while I try this route. I am not asking too much here... am I ?
