I have 2004 W2 but cant seem to find my tax return. I have 2003, 2005, 2006tax returns but not 2004. What can I do to get that return. Please any advice will be nice.

My lawyer only asked for the W2 ans tax returns for the last two years. I think the latest two to three years shall be sufficient unless USCIS asks for all specifically.
Are there any instructions specifically asking for W2s and returns for all years of your stay ? or every one is including all they have just to be safe.

Hello All,
In delhi consulate i know they keep the passport and are not giving away any slips (221(g)) or any color slips.
all they say "pending processing". Is this same as Administrative processing ? how do we differentiate if this delay due is due to PIMS or some other reason like security/name check/ or any etc problem. This is such a doubtful situation specially for people who have been waiting for more than 2 weeks ?
If you have knowledge ..do shed some light.

2. Letter from congressman - congressman called consulate and i got a written reply from congressman on status in less than a week
3. Email followup with consulate
4. Calls to DOS - have to be on hold for a bit though..

If you can restart ur app in Eb2, you should be fine dates wise. Unless CIR messes it up.
Approximately 2 months for PERM and then you can file 140+485 concurrently.

Is it such a big deal that they cant even write a letter of future employment for me? i told them that they are not obligated to hire me but they are scared that they are trying to show that they are in losses and that by filing for a GC and promising a future employment they will not be able to show that they are suffering losses.
Why is it so difficult and complicated?
I am losing hope in it.

Thanks for you encouraging email. My senator's rep. said that my case was assigned to an IO on Sep 21st. Are you sure that it takes 10-30 days(only) once the app is with an IO? May I know how are you so sure about this? Did any NCS rep tell you this time-frame? I only hope what you said comes true.

At first, I thought my friend was just scaring me by suggesting the senator/congressman route, but seeing your case now I feel foolish as I should've been doing this in early January. I will check my status tomorrow (monday) with the Delhi consulate once more, and then, if need be (fingers crossed), will talk to my boss in Houston about your suggestions regarding congressman's letter. By the way, what if I call DOS tomorrow and they say the I've been cleared, would it still make sense to have congressman approach them? Too many questions, I know, but I guess you know this feeling. This is the reply from Attorney Murthy on a question asked on Murthy chat about filing two employment based I-485's for the same beneficiary (not the husband/wife situation).
"Generally it is safer not to file 2 separate 485s since it can confuse USCIS since they may assign two separate Alien or A numbers to the same person. This could end up delaying the person's I-485 approval down the road or create a security delay in many cases with multiple I-485s generally we recommend one case to be filed as an AOS and the other for CP if possible."

My attorney told me to use control number on your latest stamped visa, in my case it is 14 digit number

This is the number in red on your visa stamp in ur passport. Mine is 8-digits long. Even if ur visa stamp has expired you've to provide that number.

I came here on F1 and i was on F1 when we applied for 485.
after i got my masters i did not apply for opt and used the EAD card i got through 485 for working.
I changed my status from F1 to H4 once i graduated.I never traveled after i came here.
Will i face any problems in future when our pd becomes current.
Our lawyer says there should not be any problem but i don't know if he is correct.:(

I saw this link Murthy's email too. The total pre-adjudicated cases in the chart is matching with the total in the document. Well now there are more un-answered questions:
1. Does all other pending 485 include employment based ? If yes what % are employment based ? Obviously we do not have any country specific data on these.
2. Is there any way to know whether individual case is pre-adjudicated or not ?
USCIS has fooled us again. No good statistical analysis can be done on incomplete/inaccurate data. I am going from hopeful to hopeless again. I am EB2-I Feb 2006.

My H1b1 extension petition was approved in October first week.
hmm.. so this is very recent approval (just 3 months back). i know there are cases which are approved long back and they are also stuck in PIMS but we don't know their service center.. in your case we know that WAC with october 2007 approval is getting stuck..

It is WAC and was approved in Mar 2007. My earlier two H1 petitions were from EAC. I have two H1 transfers in my H1 history.
