My company is asking me to pay the extension fees for 3rd term with same company. I had approved 140. In USCIS receipt it says amount received: $320. Then why I am asked to pay $1820. Is the $1500 towards training is to be paid by employee or employer?
Most probably the 1500 is attorney fees.

Thank you all for providing some excellent information. Special thanks to members waitnwatch and fromnaija for providing Arizona specific information. I certainly think that I should take this further in light of all the new information. I even talked to my GC attorny and he also thinks that I should have have given resident status.

After you have filed for labor or filed for 140 or only after filing of 485? Yep, I got the same answer from the IO at my Infopass, when I asked about my Interfile. BTW, what process did your lawyer follow to inform USCIS about the interfile request?

My application also returned for the same reason (no I485 receipt notice attached) from Phoenix. Not sure what to do at this time. I never received I485 receipt notices. Hence, I have attached biometric notices in place I485 receipt notices. I have added a cover letter requesting to expedite the process. I am not sure if this request caused some mental disturbance on the person who is supposed to work on my application and may have sent me rejected notice.

IV is not an Indian organization. If this is one of the reasons why few non-indian members are not making donations then please re-consider your decision and start donating.
Also let us not dillute our fight by expanding the fight to include other problems. Once we achieve desired results, we can continue to pick up other problems and lead the fight.

As a non-indian joining IV lately, I feel IV is more an indian organization. I had communication with one of the moderators (core members of IV) and he clearly stated that retrogession is in IV's agenda, but FBI name check is not in IV's agenda as an organization. How come retrogession which is mostly a problem for indian immigrants in the agenda of this organization, but FBI name check which is a problem for most nationalities not in the agenda of this group(maybe with the exception of Europeans)? There are over 100 members at a yahoo group, and some more registered at an immigrationportal forum with common problem of FBI name check, cases delayed for 1, 2, 3 or more years because of name check. The registered use names suggest that there are from all over the world, yet no core members of IV is caring about this matter with the exception of one person who scheduled a conference call with an attorney in PA, but did not help any more. Sorry about my humble sincere feeling.

My priority date is EB3 (August 2005). Last week her status changed to following. The thing is I checked with my lawyer & my employer and both said that they never received any RFE or never responded anything for my wife to USCIS.

There is no such status as "out of project". Based on the fact that you do not have a job and your employer is not paying you, you are out of status already. It is your employer's responsibility to pay you no matter you have a project or not. In fact, it is because of cases like yours that USCIS has raided those desi body shops and put them behind bars.
My advice to you is change your stauts ASAP to F-1 or if you are married, then to H4.
If the above two options are not something you can do, please leave the country.

1. Try to say you do NOT intend to provide supporting documents for a I-765 for a pending I-485 application (If you have provided I-485 case number and correct Alien number already).
2. Immediately after the e-filing send the supporting documents (well arranged and tabbed in order of significance) with a copy of the e-file receipt. Unless you provide this, the case would NOT progress. I even talked to an IO who stated that I should not send any documents till requested, but its my experience that you should send the documents immediately after the e-filing.
Lesson for all e-filers:

But as it is evident from the mail...they are not at all sincere in their reply. If receipt date is the issue then I won't have been approved either and nor would hundreds of my friends and colleagues who have got approved having receipt dates after me. Also our receipt date is July 23rd 2007 as is in the receipt notice from TSC and TSC is currently processing Mid -August. So TSC is not even looking at her case and just sending you a standard reply. This is the same reply that I received on opening a service request at TSC, I had hopes that they would treat inquiry from Congressman's office with more due diligence.
All I need to know is what is holding her approval and if anything we can do to fix. I have got that" to wait 90 day' reply last year also. Let's see what they have to tell about the FP/Biometrics.
Problem is I can't even leave the country without the green card now that I am approved but god knows when I will get that...All my colleagues at work have got their physical cards for their entire family in mail and that's what hurting me about the inconsistency of the way they treat applications.
