I received the card yesterday. Here is the time line of events.
Sept 7 - Card production ordered
Sept 8 - Welcome notice sent
Sept 9 - Approval notice sent aka Cards mailed
Sept 13 - Card received by me
All those who are current and waiting, just remember that it's just matter of time. You will all be greened soon. Do not worry if you didn't have any LUDs. I didn't have any and it got approved. If you are a July/Aug 2007 filer, there is a tremendous chance that your case is pre-adjudicated and it will be approved anytime now.

Mark's previous suggestion works fine in such scenarios. Do not mention the word "EAD" before hand.Do not mention H1 even. Do not try to even discuss EAD/H1 etc... As long as requirement allows Green card and where ever it is required for you to mention work status, jot down " Elligible to work for any US employer in USA". That would work. After interview, if they select submit EAD as a proof. At that moment they will not be able to deny that as a work status proof.

Call the place where you've ordered flowers and ask for a refund if flowers are delivered elsewhere. It should be up to USCIS to recieve and then ship those flowers to the hospitals.
You will be considered a PR the day your I-485 was approved. In my case, I am not sure where they got the 2008 date. Most likely it is a data entry error.

I am not sure what is happening. When I went to USCIS during Infopass, the officer at the time told me that my case will be looked upon when the notice date comes up.
MY priority date is april25 2006 and the notice date was 09/18/2007. I didn't believe him. Even I raised the question in one of the forums and other guys shot me down saying the notice date is not important. But now I got an LUD on 09/19/2007 and that was the reason why I raised this question to you as well as HIINVIN66. I am assuming that the applications are looked upon based on the notice dates. I can file I-485(Eb3 March 2005). But my wife & daugther basically out of status. Their H4 visas were not extended.

I agree with you on this, there is some truth to this that there could be delays when there are multiple filings. In fact this is the first time when USCIS has to deal with so many multiple filings, a very few lawyers have any direct experience with it. From USCIS Standard Operating Procedure, there is a mention of "second filing" (not duplicate filing) in the following places:
1. Procedural Overview (Page 4)
2. File Review (Page 46)
3. Interview Waiver Criteria (Page 185)

But if A# assigned are same, you are more or less processed like a normal case. In the end processing time for multiple filing is very much up to the discretion of adjudicating officer. Also, I didn't find any reason to believe that there could be issues with security check with multiple filings.
I think all of us multiple filers can breathe easy if our cases are filed clearly with full disclosure of information without any intended willful violation.

I don't think the call was anything big deal.....it was more a courtesy call an image improving call...we were not told anything that we didn't know already.....USCIS always raised more questions than answering them.......
