I am trying to port EB3 to EB2 but can not find an employer who will file labur for EB2. Can some one send good Desi Employers by Private email.

Also I talked to one employer and he said that I have to bring experience certificate from current employer to show my experience for EB2. The current employer says he will give the experience certificate but write only one line. ..... Any tips here.

By the way kumars story is very interesting. Here some companies thinks following thats many who working Fortune 500 companies are in EB3 or nowhere.

EB1 : for God
EB2 : for Albert Einstein or equivalent or who can win Noble Prize, All other are not qualified
EB3 : Skilled worker with or without master, Like me and you.

Sometimes in your life you make bad decisions. It happened unfortunately, because my PD is June 2004 EB2 and when dates became current last year, I thought it needs to move just 3 months to have my date current and as per DOS release there were only 3400 visas in EB2 for 2004.
Unluckily I chose for CP instead of 485 and now lying in a dark well.

Anyway please don't sympathize, I'll certainly come out of this situation very soon.

Pls check with your lawyer if you can change to AOS from CP... Then you'll be entitled for all the AOS benefits.. I know few of my friends did filed for CP instead of AOS and maintained their H1/H4 status... So no choice is good or bad.. it keeps changing :-)

Since AOS can convert to CP.. I think it should be possible otherway too...

I will be traveling during May to India (Bangalore) with a 3 hour layover in Frankfurt (Lufthansa). Is there anyone who has just returned through frankfurt without a transit visa?
What is confusing is that on the Indian website of Lufthansa it says that "Expired Visa with I797 extension notice accepted " Check out the last line in bold font.

I spoke with Uday, he has enrolled you as a State Chapter Member. There is a google/yahoo grp that each chapter leader maintains. Wish I could say something to help those who missed feel better. I was fortunate. My PERM (atlanta center which is another slow goer but nowhere like BECs) got approved on Aug 14. I filed aug 17 but don't think I submitted all needed docs due to unavailabilty of some. I saw some people at Atlanta center wait for much longer than PERM should take and they gave up. My heart goes out to everyone. We do need to become involved with IV...be it those who are ahead in the game, be those stuck in Atlanta PERM, be those stuck in BEC and/or coming out of it now. Each and every person must join so as to fix this broken immigration system. People are stuck in differnet stages and it's not fair, so do get involved and help IV in helping you.

Thats interesting to know that we even pay higher life insurances due to not having a greencard. can someone else second this from their experience. I am not aware of these hardships so if we have to say this in any media interview, we need correct information substantiated by facts.

Its very very important to discuss this with your future wife. If your marriage starts with telling a lie, IMO, its not a good sign. Whether its good or bad, just talk to her and discuss the best available option. If she is really understanding and supportive of the decision you both make, then you have already started your marriage life with flying colors...:)

And BTW, if you are considering reentry permit (to be out of US for more than allowed time on PR) NEVER APPLY REENTRY PERMIT WHILE YOU ARE OUTSIDE THE U.S. IT'S GONNA BE DENIED AND THE APPEAL WILL ALSO BE DENIED...And you will be stuck outside U.S. with a PR...
