Thanks for the AC21 letter format. What do u mean 6yrs - minus remaining time? So, lets say, I'm in the 5th yr of my H1B. So the remaining time is obviously 1 year. My 485 is pending. So, will I get an extension of 6-1 = 5 yrs of H1 extension???:o If so...that wud be gr8. Pls emphasise on what u mean by that calculation.

EB3-I is a lost hope, i dont think there will be any movement for next 2-3 years. Year 2001, 2002 and 2003 had 185K H1Bs and even if we assume 100K being used by India and all of them applied for GC -(half of them in EB3 to be optimistic). The number would be 50K/year just primary applicants. So, to advance from 2002 with 50K applicants would take---you can guess. There are only ~4000 visas/year for EB3 India.

I live less than 15 miles from TSC, my I-140 is approved from texas, but my wife's case(dependent on me) went to CSC. I don't know mine yet. Is CSC good or bad not sure. I am seeing they are approving EAD and AP faster than than TSC/NSC. My application was filed at NSC on july 20.

The disappointing news is that the projections for EB2 for India born applicants will not advance for several months. For the months of October and November 2010, the Department of State has used 700 EB2 numbers and that does not count the demand for USCIS for EB2 numbers.

I think we should get VB tomm as today its Fed Holiday Veterans Day.
Guys nothing new in here, EB2 I/C will most likely have to wait till the spillover season starts in Jul 2011 there will be good movement atleast equal to last Year so do not worry, we just need to be patient. for Eb2 I/C folks except if the PD is very close like in May it�s time to take a chill pill because the annual allocation is not even enough to take care of PD porting or older applications.

Either way your message and tone of your post doesn't sound hopeful for anybody. Could you please consider changing your screen name to "HOPELESS"? 2) Hopefull signifies optimism. A pessimist is an optimist who is very analytical or knows better. Your argument is similar to "And they lived happily ever after ...(after singing around green trees) ...." ignoring the ground reality, facts that no dent has been made and also turninga blind eye to the fact that there are people since 2001/2002 stuck. Its 2007 meaning five years and if the Dept is not willing to budge after all these efforts to a number more than 7000, and you still are HOPEFULL ignoring the facts means that you are an idiot. Yes you will get your GC before you die for sure provided you live upto the age of appx 70 and your consulting firm is around and you are not tired of the bickering with your employer.

I was hurt for the using bad language by an IV member on a matured immigration forum.
You responded to my post having not read it properly. This is what is called interpretation issue with the language. This is what I wanted to convey.
