My lawyer received our AP's yesterday. They sent me a photocopy. Even though the TSC IO said that my application was approved on 10/17/2007, the travel document has a date of 10/11/2007. Good luck to you.

definitely after you get married. one of the important papers to send in will be your proof of marriage (marriage certificate)!!!!!!!! can't rush these things.

Online case status and infopass are useful for things like address change, namecheck status, finger printing issues , and other issues being dealt where no processing or less processing is required like GC not received, approval not received , letters lost etc...
When it comes to such complicated issues, you have to get real help.
Basically - you have to somehow cut through beurocracy and get your issues resolved.

Pardon my ignorance...But I thought you need to sign the labor form before you submit. If you have signed it, how does it fly trying to sue the lawyer? Aren't you responsible for double checking before it is filed?

- I made a transfer from EMPLOYER "A" to EMPLOYER "B" in June 2007.
- H1B filed under Premium processing by EMPLOYER "B" was approved on end of June 2007.
- However, the receipt # for EMPLOYER "B" is different than I-797 receipt # of EMPLOYER "A"

This is really a great effort to bring all immigration related information under one roof.
I have one suggestion. Is it possible to increase number of rows to 200( choice to users with 25/50/100/200 showings per page) and show more than 5 pages of data. I believe at least 10 pages is a good start.

I am currently working on using EAD. I went to India for a visit and came back to US on 7/7/08 using AP. On the form I-94 they mentioned my status as �Paroled� till 7/7/2009.
Does it mean I have to leave the country before that date and come back again to get the different date on I-94. Should I worry about the date mentioned on the I-94 form?
I know that, If we are on H1 we usually apply for the extension before our 94 expires so that we will get a new I-94 with new date. But in this case, since I not leaving the country how does this date will get changed in I-94 form.

I guess the only question that remains now is if I beat the clock and am able to file I-485 (assuming everything works out in EB2 case) before the current H1B expires, what would my status be until I receive my EAD. Currently the priority date for EB3 India is May�01.
My PD is Mar�2004.
When no reforms happen, how long approximately it will take to reach my PD.
I know it is based on how many people applied, yearly and per country limit. Can any one guess or possibly know how we can find about these details about movement such that how many people applied, if it goes on the same speed then how long it will take to move from one year to next year. Can anyone guess?

I agree with your lawyers statement. She will not be counted against the quota because she already has H1. Also I would recommend premium processing when she gets a job.
Well i just sent a message to my lawyer and this is the reply i received.
"If her current H-1B has been counted against the cap before, she should be able to return to H-1B status without having to wait for the cap to reopen."

4 months from now, there will be another rush for applications for EADs and people will be spending money for it. Everyone will be back on the forums talking about notices and late processing for these applications. Lot of people will have heartburns and their jobs can be in trouble if their EADs do not arrive on time.
We do not seem to look at the bleak picture ahead in future and are worrying about EADS, AP and notices now. The real problem is retrogression and not if TSC is slower than NSC or vice versa or receipt notices. (You will be surprised that people write to us telling us to focus lobbying efforts on making TSC faster than NSC since that is a big problem faced by millions of people)
The end result of this constant renewals of EAD and AP is heartache, frustration and loss of money for us. We ultimately lose if we do not wake up now and do something.
Unless this community is ready to raise its voice, nothing WILL be done for us in the near future.
