Please don't travel thru countries that impose this ridiculous transit Visa requirement on individuals, especially from India. Ask them to justify the charges, and you would get no response from them.
So, even if takes to spend $200 - 300 more, AVOID these crook countries that charge Transit Visa. People we must send the message across. In this century, I think its Indians that are traveling the most on these trans-atlantic-asia route, and collectively avoiding these 'snob' countries would send a very good signal.

I had my GC approved out of line last year in aug [was current (pd march 2006), but processing time wasn't current for texas at that time]. EADs for both me and my spouse had been approved like 1 week before this happened. Hers was for 2 yrs and mine for 1 yr. What happens to her application if I loose my job or leave my job ? If company is promoting and Apply for EB2, then the PD should be Promotion Date. Because EB2 qualification starts only after promotion. One cannot go back and get old PD and attach it to EB2 after promotion. That is unfair to people, who are already promoted and applied before. Hope this makes sense.

Yes you can claim them as dependants. I have done this in the past. All you have to do is file the ITIN application with your Federal Tax Return.

I'll throw in my two cents and speak on behalf of the 300D. Though it does not have a metal body or a few other features found in the 10D and others, I find it to be a well-built camera that is more than meeting my needs. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, if someone walks up to me today and offers to trade a MKII straight up for my 300D, I'll gladly give it up. ;)

I only have something to say, everyone is looking for its own turf, and if you really want diversity in the forum, the hard count will not attract anyone else other than Indians and Chinese. I am few months from working due to EB2- Worlwide category (current), so any change on the hard count is not on my benefit, same for anyone who is not from India or China, the EB3 is not current worlwide but the line of all the other countries is still shorter, if you really want to reach more than Indians and Chinese the goal has to be good for everyone, and the hard count is not. Latest update: Latina explained that the hard count doesn't affect the place in the line for the Worlwide category, it just affects the unused numbers and that this will go to other skilled workers from no worldwide categories other than to not skilled people, I am all for that, I just do not want to have to wait any longer and if Latina was correct my assumptions were mistaken.
