Hi All:
Usually I check status of my case online using USCIS website. I got the following error what does this mean?. I got the same mssage few months back and after day or two it was alright.
Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:
Login failed. Your User ID and/or Password are invalid.
Multiple duplicate SRs already exist for the customer
It sounds like they have multiple SR's on my case.
1) What does this mean?.
2) or Did any one got same kind of error?.

Can someone inform if the pre tax Health Insurace premiums deducted in pay roll are computed towards meeting the LCA wage.

I have the following questions with respect to number of days I can stay out of the country for my situation.
I have been on green card since June 2010.
I have visited India from October 17' 2010 to Feb 4' 2011 (Total 111 Days).
Now I need to go back to India again for around 3 months (Approx 10th May - 10th Aug) which is about 93 Days.
My questions are:
1. As a GC holder can I make the above visits without resetting my 'Continuity of 5 Yeard of Residence' clock ? As in each calender year I will not be out of country for greater than 180 days. But, when you count from October 16 2010 - October 15 2011, I will be more than 180 days out of the country.
2. If answer to the above question is NO, do I need to file/apply for any exception to be out of country?

I'm in a process of transfering my H1B to a new employer. I've already hired a lawyer and paid him his fee. The lawyer spoke to my employer and everything was going fine. Now, my new employer tells me that his company "froze hiring" untill further notice !?!

1. Is my employer lying and why?
2. Can I somehow make my employer pay me back the money I already paid to the lawyer?

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) recently issued guidance on the new H-1B amendment that limits Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) recipients� ability to hire H-1B workers. On May 1, 2006, hundreds of thousands of immigrants around the country demonstrated against a restrictive immigration bill introduced in Congress. This weekend, similar demonstrations will occur around the US. I'll be attending my 20th law school reunion in Chicago this weekend and am hoping to attend that rally. I had a 221g in 2000 and submitted all the docs. I got response in 2002 (After 2 years :eek:) . I had just 10 months left on my H1 that time. So we will never know. But situation in 2000 was different. I am not discouraging you but telling how hard these 221gs will be. I hope its not that bad these days and you may get response soon.

I am on H1B all these days and my company wants me to mandatory move to EAD. (no option here). I also had my H1B approved for an other 3 years.
1) Is it a good idea to move on EAD now.
2)Its been close to 6 years on my H1 but I still have 8 months left on the initial 6 years. Can i use the left out period on H1B later.
3)Now that I am on EAD, if i need to move my employer, can I invoke the AC21. if yes what should I do... do i just need to resign at the current place and join at the company b.
4)If I move out of my current employer,Can my employer revoke the I140, considering that its already been more than 180days since approved.
Note: I have my 485 pending and 140 approved in April 2008 and I am a July 2007 filer with a priority date of June 24th 2007.
