I dont mean to be greedy or selfish but from a purely technical analysis this is extremely bad news for EB2\Eb3 India and China folks. Eb4 and Eb5 account for 10% of the 140000 EB green cards every year. If EB4 and Eb5 were discontinued these visas would have spilled over into Eb1,2,3 category. With the Eb4 and Eb5 extension in the senate bill we are screwed royally. There is heavy misuse in the Eb4 category, so much so that it Eb4 and EB5 may retrogress for India!!!!, there will never be any spillover from this category.
What amazes me is congress has been consistently backing eb4 and eb5 every year by extending it but nobody cares about eb2 and eb3. Not even provisions like STEM are making it.
To people who say stem will not happen, visa recapture will not happen and only solution is CIR because hispanic caucus or anti immigrants will not allow piece meal immigration legislation, I wonder how EB4 and Eb5 are consistenly being passed every year by the congress.

It should be mentioned that Rector is the ideological guru of immigration restirictionists like Loo Dobbs, NumbersUSA, FAIR, CIS, Jeff Sessions and Tom Tancredo (I bet we'll remember these names in the years to come...).

I filed my 485 in July 2007 with an approved I 140, My company got aquired in Nov. 2007. They amend my H1B, Recently I come to know that they file new I 140 to indicate new company is sponser of my GC. The new I 140 is still pending.
Now, I am gettig an offer by another company and that company is ready to transfer H1B. Can I change job while my new I 140 is pending

Sorry to be so brutal, but with a Master's degree I bet u can get a much better job than a real estate agent. Just my 2 cents.

Your question on connecting to an XML data source is interesting because there are several ways of doing this. One approach is by using Linq and just parsing the output.

* How do I use a wp7 icon (from the icon pack) as a clickable button? I have an input search TextBox, but instead of using a simple button control (for the click event) I would like to use the magnifying glass icon as the search button --something similar to how Bing (on WP7) uses the mic in the search box. How can I accomplish this?

It is the law that you file AR-11 within (I think) 10 days after moving to a new address. If you do not do say, technically they can deport you. So send the AR-11 form with proof of sending. You can also submit AR-11 form online.
You should also change the address on the USCIS site. This operation is different from AR-11 submission.

The Texas Service Center (TSC) provided updated information on their caseload and other important matters in a meeting with the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) liaison. The responses to questions, posed to TSC several months earlier, were released in late January 2010
The TSC reports that most of their pending I-485s have been pre-adjudicated. This means that the I-485 application has been reviewed and is simply awaiting availability of an immigrant visa number. These applications may have received requests for evidence (RFEs) if they required any documents or updated information for the pre-adjudication process
EAD and AP Processing Time within 60 Days
TSC reports a goal of adjudicating advance parole (AP) and employment authorization document (EAD) requests within 50 to 55 days. It notes there was a period during which EAD processing was slowed, and 15-20 percent of the cases were not adjudicated in 90 days. TSC states that this has been addressed, and it is expected that processing goals will be met or exceeded.

Today when I looked the I-485 status I found the status changed to card production ordered. I'm traveling to India on 1st Dec (coming saturday). It is a business trip and I'm unable to postpone it. My attorney says If I travel now, they will consider the GC abandoned. Is this true?? I have an approve AP with me. I also planned to stamp my H1B visa in India. What a confusion!
