I think there�s a reason :apple: didn�t notify the new iMac owners for 10.6.7 update, unlike in the new Macbook Pro
It�s because all 2011 iMac will be eligilbe for upgrade to Lion for free, or at least with discount, maybe $29 only via Mac App Store so they can directly check who eligible for one and who�s not. If you want to get the shiny retail box, it may cost $129.
That should be it .. so I wouldn�t worry too much about Lion, let�s hope I�m not wrong okay :D

Have you tested with 4.3 to see if it works with the update? I'd be interested, since I might actually buy the connector if it does.

Does anyone have this problem? IPhoto duplicates the event section. When sync to the iPhone. Shows in iTunes but not in iPhoto .
I believe this is an iPhoto bug, not an iOS or iTunes problem. It only showed up when people upgraded to 9.1.2. Earlier versions of iPhoto and Aperture do not have this problem.

i know someone who just purchased a dual ghz box with 2 GB of ram. The extra .25 mhz isn't worth it becuase it is bottlenecked anyways by it's slow-assed system bus. The ram on the otherhand, is great for the after affects, FCP and photoshop work hes doing.

holy crap you're a genious :) it actually started computing now i think, though it errored out right away with an 'unstable machine' error. first time its gotten that far at least. here's the log
it was trying to use core_15 earlier which was probably the issue. i wasn't forcing it with g80. i'm still not sure from those linux instructions what all we need to do on os x with the wine dll wrapper and stuff though. maybe its not actually seeing the card who knows. thanks for the help:)

You can use almost anything with a tripod for landscapes, and add in AutoPano Pro if you want to stitch. Macro is a different beast- insects or static subjects? The Tamron 90mm SP Di is a great choice as is the Nikon 105mm, consider the Sigma 150mm macro if you need the working distance.

I think that currently I'll be looking lens for landscape for now. Will definitely use pano pro in the future. Been looking at things like that for a while now.

feeling the same way, forgot to mention that I also have a Iphone 4 along with the Ipad 2 and MBP. I love this MBP plus the company bought it. I guess i could sell the Ipad 2 and buy the new imac for home..Not sure, I guess a good problem to have. Again, just curious what others thought.
That doesn't happen with me. When my monitor goes off, his avatar expands, then covers up my whole screen, swallowing all the other avatars. Whoa...wait, let me try it again to be sure.
