Well said anurakt! I did the same - recently changed my job and restarted the process. At the end of the day better prof. experience will give value add - not an immigration status.
Having said that - I support IV and stand by it. I admire the attitude and am proud to be a part of the group. The immigration situation is very frustating but I'll not allow it to 'control' me.

It took a while for me to understand this situation. Now I am very clear on what I will be doing istead of tying myself to a bs immigraion system this country has. I ran after two things GC and Money ....running after GC didn't do any good....stuck with an employer.... salary below market value same position all the years....but I have decided I will run after money now.... so in current situation I have more money better position...less mental stress .... If I get GC... good ....else I will go back to my country with total financial freedom. Make my money as quickly as possible. We are all here for money and nothing else ...thus GC should not be an end to life....

Are you not authorized to work until new EAD or copy of EAD will suffice... I know everything else is easy to replace.... but USCIS documents takes months...

Ok guys before you shoot it down heres my calc for EB2 pending apps from 2000 to Dec 2003. Obviously its a rough estimate, who knows how many eb3s switched, labor subs etc etc etc.
From pending apps from 2000 to 2003 dec are about 96. Assume represents 1% of total population so it would be 9600. Each app has about 1.5 dependents so about 15,000? If you assume as lower say 0.5% then number would obviously increase to 29,000.
Ok now shoot me down.

When the tax decreases for middle class and tax increases for upper class, then the upper class CEO and the business would like to see how they can increase their profit by not increasing the wage of a middle class.

Is it possible to ask them if they have the file with them and ask them to do a name check on the applications or some kind of relevant information related to the application. i am sure they should have put the files some where with some easy to identify tags. can some one call the uscis, i am planning to do with the nexy 40 min as that is when it is 8 here in the pacific coast :-)
