However, what the AILF is going to fight is the "revised bulletin". This is all time low for "Highly Skilled" "Highly talented" "High INCOME" group. For the issue that affects our life the most, we are asking IV core if we could still drop to $10/month or $1/month, realizing well that we are up against well oiled and very well funded machinery of anti-immigrants. msgs like this help establish the notion that this is an indian website dedicated to indian immigration issues. I didnt see any post wishing happy Eid/ Eid Mubarak nor did I notice last year that anyone wished a Merry Christmas/ Happy Holidays, nor do we wish our Chinese friends a Happy Chinese New Year.

My kids didn' go to day care until they are 1.5 years old, then they want to babysitter , they started going to day care after 2.5 years. Day care is right place for kids after 2 years, because they need other kids to play, staying home is boring for them. I have personally experienced this.

May be this is not a prediction thread. But the OP and some others are all about VB in another thread or two. While I personally dont have any issue with it, it just frustates me that people dont understand that VB is not going to do any magic for PD's in 2003 or later. C mon Lets be realistic. After doing all the math in so many threads, Does any one expect that the PD will be some where in the ending of 2003. Hell no. Then why is that we have a Dec Bulletin thread way back? Now some one is gonna come start a Jan prediction thread. Useless. I hate to comment on this but I hope people understand the difference between discussion as you said(which I personally agree) and useless predictions when they can make educated guess and do something else.

Gave in and sent PP by Fedex yesterday for Schedule A, grp 2 case.My attorney did not advise me to PP nor did a legally brain I turn to for advice. He said its likely that I would get approved even during retrogression.
But I decided its better to know sooner than later, preferably before spouse started using EAD, and if a miracle happens (who can prevent miracles?) the 485 could also get approved concurrently with the 140.... And because I have 13 days more before retrogression hits. And because I saw people reportiing really qiuck turn around after PP. My employer was willing to pay half as well...
Well plus I did not want to be stuck in the general EB2 pool (India) which looks like its a black hole. I have an approved labor from 2004 there.(yet to file 140 for that one)..so didn't see a reason to be stuck there with a 2006 PD.
I still wonder if my reasons were sane and if my hasty action mght prevent my spouse from working -- if the 140 gets denied...Well, we'll take it as it comes..it may mean goodbye to the US or something..
BTW as far as I know, retrogression doesn't start till November 1st.

The Employment Based Immigration section explains how they will make a task force to prevent illegal workers from being exploited. I don't see anything for legal EB workers other than this 5 year thing which will start counting after this law is passed. :mad:
