I think the OP has some valid points. Certainly recapture lawsuit may work as the law does not say that allocated EB visas expire. Do not listen to nay-sayers, just do it.
Here is one example of the succsessfull class-action (even though the court case died in a court of appeals, it was beneficial to immigrants):

I always try to get Short term and Long Term disability insurances through employer.
But the problem is they always start with long preexisting exlusions and when you change jobs they dont continue so have to start new one which also has other new preexisting exlusions to start.
You can convert your longterm disability to the personal policy if you have that for long time. but they are not valid if you get new job.
Is there any private/personal (not employer sponsored) Short and long term DISABILITY Insurance policies that we can purchase out side of the job.? How are the premiums? Are they reliable?

well there will always be certain exceptions everywhere....Michael Aytes did mention it publicly when he testified before congress in his document below

he does mention that all these applications will be pre-adjudicated just short of visa number. So officially in my opinion they will not go back to these applications unless there is an exceptional condition which makes them do it. I can safely say that broadly it's not gonna happen.

Will CIS generate the Receipt notice first before transfering the application to the appropriate service center. ( like transfering the application from NSC -> TSC when the I-140 was approved at TSC but filed at NSC) .

That's not correct. Such frequent reentry after exit will certainly lead to suspicion by an Immigration office at PoE. In fact the intent of 10 year visitor visa is not 10 years of permanent residence. If there is no convincing reason for such frequent reentry you are mostly likely looking at serious interrogation or deportation at the airport. There is no substitute for a GC for your parents if you want them to be with you permanently in the US. Visitor visa has a specific purpose and intent, abusing it could put your folks serious trouble. The other issue with such long term stay on Visitor Visa is - medical insurance - unfortunately there is no good, reliable and comprehensive medical insurance that covers elderly visitors on short trip.

I don't think there is any way of knowing if your case is pre-adjudicated. The only way you will come to know is if you receive an RFE or an interview appointment.

First of all, you dont have a binary choice in the matter such as either you learn 50,000 words and their spellings or go smoke dope. There is a middle ground here.
Secondly, why do I see in company after company, especially in the knowledge industry that a straight A student, like your Kavya here, working for a manager who had been a B- student who in turn works for an executive who was a C- student ?
Get educated ... that's fine. But dont get over-educated such that you are a cripple who cannot think outside the box. Too much education, too many straight As, too many spellings will make you incapable of thinking outside the box, taking risks. Anyways, that's my belief and my opinion and everyone is free to raise their kids in whatever way they deem fit. I for one, would never ask my 2 children to participate in any spelling bee contest.

And let me remind you, there is AN ENTIRE GENERATION of US educated US masters degree holders who had no job after graduating and have been to a desi company to get trained on the real-world software applications. If the US masters degree made them super-duper smart, then they would not be knocking doors of desi companies for education after graduating.

If the world view and the objective is not just to become a manager or make 100K instead of 120K, but actually do something worthwhile in every stage of your life, rather than just having an objective of becoming a manager, maybe its about learning a language and words, then why not. Strong vocabulary is the first stage to clear expression and clear expression is the corner stone of a successful and satisfying career, including bring a manager. I don't see anything wrong with learning more words, or loving parents or obedient children. Everyone has a different age in their life when we revolt against the environment, just to break free. Its not necessary that one must continue to revolt an entire lifetime to be creative or be better than others. Bill Gates or Steve jobs never wanted to become just managers, they wanted to re-invent the future. College dropouts, but successful. But how many Gates and Jobs do we have? I guess there is no clear definition of success and different people gauge success differently, but most people, more so in this crowd on this forum, relate success to level of education/university (US masters or Bachelors from India), and title at work place. But maybe the key is not how others gauge your success, but how you gauge yourself. Maybe you have set your eyes on squeezing most number of lemons or maybe being fastest eater of a water melon, or climbing on top of rhinoceros back, whatever it is, if you have done it and you feel satisfied, you will see yourself as successful. My current H1 is expiring soon. My 3 year H1 extension is pending. I had receipt notice but NJ DMV at Wayne refused to accept that. My current License is valid only till the middle of the next month.

I was in the same situation, waiting for my L1 extension to come through and license was to expire on Aug 30th, went to 2 DMV's in different counties both had a different reason to say NO!!! One thing they had in common was that they need a letter from employer and also that they need the original receipt notice applied for the extension, I took them to a different DMV in Bergen county (one of the adjacent counties to mine) and had to speak to the supervisor who was a little confused and i told her that my cousin got his DL extended for 8 months while his visa extn was pending then looked up something okayed the extn...man it was terrible time running around...some of the DMV's were so bad the supervisors were out right rude did not even want to refer to their logs or whatever, well there is a provision for DL's to be extended for 8 months or 240 days while visa extn is pending, so try talking to superviosrs at DMV. Good luck...

Retain these highly-skilld immigrats that the U.S. needs while American universities train more Americans in the sciences, math and technology that the country does NOT currently have and desperately needs to retain U.S. global leadership and competitiveness"...or something like that

Within 2 days, status changed to "card production ordered". Before, we had sent expedite request also.

Recently, I stopped taking all these racial comments in a serious way, 2 days back my co worker made comments on how my "curry smells" when eat at my desk. My wife wakes up early in the morning and cooks the food with so much love and affection and I eat that, whereas he eats burgers and fries from cafeteria - look at who is commenting??????
I can understand the love your wife has for you. But I think you should enjoy that lovely lunch at a cafeteria. Smells can be very offensive. I love Indian food, but if I had to smell the Indian food in my cube everyday I would be pissed too. There is nothing racist here. I would be pissed if your coworker eats a burger with raw onions and then talks to me with that smell.
