I don't use word slave very lightly, but we need to accept the fact many of H1Bs are handcuffed with current system, We need system similar to Austrialia, Canada a point based system or very similar to Nurses in US they get GC before even coming to US.
H1Bs are truly pulling the wages down, I know I did when I came here I have no argument with anti-immigrants with this subject, but giving GCs to these H1Bs will have fair chance to compete in Market
Corporate leaders such Bill Gates and Senators such as Kennady do know this issue and have deep understanding but they don't give a rat about it,
Please do not say negative things against the H1B visa guys. Remember if it was not for the H1B, you guys would be in ur home countries right now. Let us all please stop abusing the VERY priviledge we have. H1Bs are FREE to change jobs at will. If you dont like your job CHANGE IT or GO BACK. My friend also faced similar situation like your case sometime back. But at that time he is having his previous employer valid H1.
You have two options.
1. Change to new employer and apply H1B thru Premium. The reason is your employer is having issues with USCIS. Hence he is not willing to do Premium.
2. If you dont want to change your employer, you can apply another H1B from your current employer under premium as the current petition is not allowing to do premium.

The way I see it, this is a step towards getting more revenues for USCIS. With the elimination of concurrent filing, USCIS is expecting more applications for I-140 premium processing, which will lead to additional revenues.

If we are presenting a story that was meant for telling problems (like h1b/GC process) presenting only problems will not achieve our goal in publicity. Show something that audience like (most of people like healthy humor I think) and include your concept/problem in that so that it will get in to people. Otherwise it will be so called award movie with lot of tears and sadness. Even that would work if it was presented with lots of creativity.

Send a Certified email with receipt /delivery acknowledgment to the employer with your request. Prepare a proper trail of documentation. If the employer does not relent, report the same to IRS after consultation with a tax consultant.

I didn't send a certified mail but I have a reply to my email saying that they didn't received the statements from the Insurance Company and we can still report those missing wages without a W2 from the company.
Can we use this as a proof of contacting employer requesting for a corrected W2?

Actual daily press and wire service photographers will undoubtly use 4mp. You may not be aware, but all the gorgeous 2 column color shots you see on USA Today etc. are printed from files that are usually 700k - 800k. There are heavily compressed for transmitting. All the wires do that. They don't get full files. The most attractive things to me are the high ISO performance, the ability to customize colorspace amd I'm anxious to test the new autofocus capabilities. The 8 mp is a plus for shooting for a mag or other output. Even at that, I've had 1D shots as a glossy mag color that looked great. One advantage higher megapixels give a sportshooter is for sports like football. Due to the size of the field, the ability to crop more gives you more field coverage. But then the question is will you have enough time to work with files that are twice the size. I'm sure that's why Canon listened and gave us 4 MP as an option.Based on this Steve, would it be safe to say that a 1D. as is, would still be a viable product to have on the shelves (notwithstanding that it would effect sales of the new one and that's why they don't)? I think there is room for a 1D in it's current MP capacity, but with the 1D Mark II improvements.. (Shooting RAW at 4MP that is)

Your GC is your responsibility. Better to know all AC 21 regulations and act accordingly. Lawyers do goof up. I suggest you take conservative stand unless you are ready to take any risk. Personally I am risk averse as far as GC is concerned. Think whether the extra dough or career change is much needed for you.
The job title Technical Recruiter itself is like painting target on the shirt and going into the field. I think RFE is guaranteed.

I came back via Frankfurt last month. AP no prob. But be aware of Lufthansa. It was worst trip of my life. Bugger airline had cancelled flight from FRA to Mumbai without notifying. They gave me two options after I landed at FRA. 1. Wait at airport for 27 HOURS for next days flight (as they don't give Indians visa @ airport for hotel stay) or 2. Wait for another 6 hours at airport, then take flight from FRA to zurich, wait at zurich for 3 hrs, then zurich to Dubai, wait at dubai for 3 hrs and then dubai to Mumbai. Unwillingly I had to accept 2nd option.
Staff is damn rude, had to wait in long line for 3 hours to talk to cust service.
