I think everything done by over 1000/2000 people together and every subject covered in letters from over 1000/2000 people makes it to the top. Most half educated (which is worst than illiterate) usually give priority to their petty differences and find reasons not to participate, which is why they remain "wise fools".
It will definately help to draw attention to our issues if more people in the community will participate.

You nailed it brother! SRK is just another moron who thinks he owns the world! All things being equal, there is no reason for him to get any special treatment at all -- he is no diplomat or a guest of this country. If there was something wrong with his luggage and/or profile that made the CBP flag him and question him, I don't see anything wrong with that. This is just a case of another innocent civilian getting affected for no reason. SRK has travelled to US many times and USCIS has his finger print and knows who he is. Still just bcs his last name was khan, they found reason to interrogate him for 2 hours. I just don't see any logic in what they did. Recently I have E-Filed for EAD renew and have sent all the supporting documents the following day. But I have recieved an RFE for the photos I haven't sent along with the documents and asked me submit 2 color passport photos. It was my understading that I don't have to send the photos while E-filing since they will be taken at the bio-metric appt. I am done with my bio-metric appt. Do i need to contact USCIS about this or is there any thing you can suggest me.

This is racial profiling no doubt, but for good reason after what happened on 9/11. This is an unfortunate aftermath of 9/11 and IMHO a welcome one. If it wasnt for this kind of security we would have had many more 9/11ish incidents. I am glad this is a "part of life" now, otherwise I am not have a life. When you ask "When was the last time.. a US diplomat or US socialite was frisked and detained for 2 hrs in indian airports?", that is a big problem with the state of security in India. Not just US diplomat or US socialite even our own Indian ministers and celebrities dont get frisked or detained. You feel that is right when you hear about so many scandals of the underworld-bollywood nexus or politician-mafia nexus ? Forget about the nexus, its not right even if there was no connection with mafia. Rules should apply the same to everyone.

The was no change in law and still there was a change in interpretation based on the current state of EB2, so this interpretation will change once some other category needs spill overs. Thanks to everyone for taking an active role in the funding drive. It is always a frustrating experience every time we want to raise funds. In our overzealousness sometimes we also hurt the effort by being too harsh on people who are not contributing. We do not wish to encourage any finger pointing. Members start asking all kinds of questions on the forum and kill the initiative thereby hurting the organization and ultimately themselves. At this time we are no longer going to ask for funds on the forum and will continue the IV effort with what we have from the contributions members have made. Members who feel they wish to contribute will contribute if they feel for the cause in their heart. Admins have decided to close all such threads so that we can focus on the other IV work rather than solving disputes between members and making sure no anonymous member is hurting other anonymous member�s feelings.
