The cutoff date for EB2, India, retrogressed by two additional years, to January 1, 2000. Moreover, the prediction contained in the Visa Bulletin for EB2, India, is that the annual limit could be reached within the next few months. If this occurs, the category will become "unavailable" for the remainder of the fiscal year.
The explanation for this is simply that demand for visa numbers by the USCIS for EB2, India, adjustment-of-status cases far exceeds supply

Well... A friend of mine has a photography business and uses Nikon kit. For a long time I have been impressed by her out of the camera images (color and skin tones), particularly flash shots. She was achieving good looking images with far less processing than me. Her nikon zooms were great wide open too - mine were just OK (on a 20d) I was hoping that Canon would take a hint, & come up with a feature set to compete with the d300. They didnt do it, so I jumped ship!

We are in the same boat. We also filed our I-485 separately through our respective employers but we have not requested to merge the applications yet. From my consultation to an attorney, you have following options:
1. If you already have receipt numbers for your case, you should send the copies of your I-485 receipt notice and approved I-140 along with your spouse's application. Attach a cover letter requesting to append your spouse's file with yours. That way, you don't have to do a separate step of letting USCIS know later on. Don't forget to include a copy of marriage certificate.
2. In case you do not have receipt numbers for your case (which was our case), your spouse can fill out his/her application and then wait to receive notice receipts for both of your applications. Notify USCIS about merging your applications. From my understanding, there is no way of confirming if the files were merged so this doesn't gurantee that they will be merged.

Once you are approved, you can take an infopass apointment and request spouse's adjuciation based on your spouse's approval and your pending application. Not sure , but you can also file follow to join (which takes 6 months) for the other member to receive GC once you have one approved GC in hand. You don't have to depend on PD after this.
I honestly recommend taking a second opinion from attorney and would really appreciate if you can share what your attorney recommends.

I have H1 approval I-797 with me (received in last year quota) and H4 approval (which was applied before applying H1). Now I have a family emergency back home. I have to travel asap. My current H4 stamp in the passport is expired. So I have to go for stamping, either it be using H1 or using H4. Since I am unemployed at present I can't use H1 for stamping. If I come back on H4, what will happen to my H1 status? Will it be still valid to accept an employment or becomes void.
Please share your thoughts...

I work as a consultant for one of the big 5 firms implementing SAP applications. What is the job code referenced for this job? I want to know the job category it falls under as per the Dictionary of Occupation Title or the O*Net published by DOL. My company did not provide me this information but any help will be greatly appreciated.

Rightly it did not have any information on candidates. I cannot remember where did I find it.
We can all speculate what it would be but not sure. We also do not know why do you need this info and what is your current status with regard to GC...

There is absolutely no reason to fear. I also work for a TARP recipient. In January, I received a 3 year extension beyond the 6th year.
I went to Toronto last week for my H1B stamping. At no point of time, did anyone ask about TARP or any ramifications related to it. All talk of no H1B extensions beyond 6 years is absolutely false. Also, I can't imagine the BofA case rejection to be true either.
